Linda's Mission
Linda's mission is to help you improve your quality of life with simple, easy-to-implement tools that promote proper nutrition and healthful living for a lifetime.
Linda is concerned about America's increasing issues with overindulgence, poor eating habits, and inactivity, which are resulting in long term health problems and increased healthcare costs. San Antonio (Bexar County) is now one of the most obese cities in America. Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in Bexar County followed by Cancer at #2 and Diabetes at #6. Focusing on healthy lifestyle choices as a key component of wellness and disease prevention holds great promise in reducing the incidence and progression of chronic illness, sources of disability, and conditions that cause premature death. Given that there are no cures for many of these conditions, strategies to promote healthy lifestyles, such as visiting Linda, a Registered Dietitian, is vital to improving health outcomes.
